

Tumultuous Tides - The EndAmi was packing to return to university, but for once her suitcase wasn't bulging at the seams from the amount she was packing, this time the suitcase was practically empty. Ami had said her goodbyes to the girls, as always, but this time Ami knew it wasn't going to be for long. Tucking the Juban University leaflet into her back pocket, Ami picked up the suitcase, a little stunned at how light it felt when it wasn't stuffed full with all her clothes. Ami looked around the apartment; she had given it a good clean in the past couple of days, as well as buying some newer furniture, she was after all going to bTumultuous Tides - The End


Tumultuous Tides - Ch. 9Ami was quick to pack, but Shingo was quicker. As Ami signed out of the hotel, a full seven hours earlier than expected, Shingo went and got the car, insisting on driving the whole way back to Juban. "You should let me drive Shingo," said Ami, gently taking the keys from him, Shingo nodding wearily as he let himself be coaxed into the passenger side of the car. Ami tried to talk to Shingo on the way back, but none of the words seemed right in her mouth, as if they were strangers looking for idle conversation. Trying again, Ami started, "So Shingo, you haven't told me what you're planning for University nextTumultuous Tides - Ch. 9


Tumultuous Tides - Ch. 8Ami shuddered as she awoke, her body feeling as though the top layer of skin had recently been removed with a scourer. Groaning she rolled over onto her stomach, her arm hitting onto another warm body next to her in the bed. "Wha " exclaimed Ami, shooting up in the bed to see the still sleeping form of Shingo as the night slowly came back to her in a misguided sequence. "Oh," sighed Ami as she let herself fall back into the warm, inviting bed, "That was a close call."
